If you tend to get depressed on the weekends, you might offset this by making plans to stay active. This can be a good time to see a movie, be in a support group or spend time with friends. If friendships are difficult for you at this time and you can’t find activities for Friday and Saturday evenings then that’s a perfect time to join a support group to help process the underlying feelings and reactions that accompany them.
